I painted this piece inspired by the fleeting magic of the golden hour—that moment when everything softens, glows, and feels quietly infinite.
Working with generous layers of golden acrylic, I allowed the paint to move freely across the canvas, building texture, depth, and light. The gold catches and reflects with every shift, creating a living surface that changes throughout the day—never static, always evolving.
The lower part of the painting feels grounded, almost like an abstract landscape shaped by memory, while the upper space opens into a soft, atmospheric sky. Hints of warm blush, muted greens, and unexpected vibrant accents emerge through the layers, like emotions surfacing and dissolving at the same time.
There is no fixed focal point. I wanted the eye to wander—just like during golden hour, when light dances and nothing asks to be defined too quickly.
