"Era" is a deeply personal piece for me, born out of a desire to balance raw emotion with contemporary painterly technique. I used bold, textured brushwork and a nuanced palette of cool blues against warm undertones to build a presence that I hope feels both powerful and intimate.
My main focus while painting this was the psychological depth of the subject—capturing a gaze that feels timeless, yet tells a deeply personal story. I built the piece with rich layers and energetic marks to give it a life of its own on the canvas.
