In this large-scale abstract painting, I set out to capture the quiet, changing atmosphere of a Swiss morning. Wrapped in soft, warm golden hues, ochres, and misty pinks, my composition evokes the stillness of a serene alpine landscape as sunlight breaks through lingering mountain mist.
I used dynamic, sweeping strokes and raised impasto textures that flow seamlessly across fluid, translucent glazes, creating a tactile surface full of life and movement. Pockets of rich magenta, emerald green, and sunny yellow peek through the soft layers, reminiscent of wild meadow blooms scattered across high pastures.
